History

From the start, EAI has been sensitive to the daily pressures of the retail investment world, and to its rapidly changing landscape. Matt Essieh, president and CEO, founded the company in response to the growing challenges facing financial institutions as they moved into selling annuities, mutual funds and insurance products. He saw a need for a simple, reliable infrastructure to help manage these new market opportunities.

His answer was a robust software system that allowed users to convert a single transaction into an ongoing customer relationship, in turn creating reliable performance and trend data to boost business. Where before there was a lack of tools that could track sales, referrals and commissions, or handle compliance and positions reporting, EAI emerged as a one-stop solution. When the 1999 repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act paved the way for a more competitive environment, customers really began to appreciate EAI’s integrated system.

Today, our software can be found on the screens of institutions nationwide, whether it be at an independent broker-dealer looking for a hand with data entry, or the $1 trillion regional bank relying on the system to pay its reps on complicated pay scales. EAI has become an integral, long-standing partner in their business, and with development of new tools and platforms, strives to grow right alongside them, for years to come.
